Generally, there are no formal requirements to be able to enrol in this course. However, you must be somewhat literate to be able to handle it. This is not a fully funded course. But in many cases, particular students might receive partial financial support. 

If you are responsible and attentive enough, you can complete this course within about 9 months. You will have to sit for various tests to pass the course. You will also have to submit written assignments from time to time. But don’t worry, everything will be very flexible.

The Foundation year (actually 1st year) consists of 6 mandatory modules of 20 credits each. The 1st (actually 2nd year) year consists of 8 modules of 20 credits each. However, among them 3 of the modules are optional. 

Next, year no 2 (actually 3rd year) has modules as well. Finally, the 3rd year (actually 4th year) has 8 modules. The 1st module named ‘Dissertation in Sociology’ has 40 credits. Except for that, all the other modules have 20 credits each. And 5 of the modules from last year are optional.

After completing the 4-year course successfully, you will be awarded the ‘BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care Management with Foundation Year’ degree and certification.
