Teaching and assessment

Through a combination of standard assessment types and a range of authentic assessments, the assessment approach seeks to meet the learning outcomes while enabling students to gradually advance their skill development over the course of the four-year program.

Formative evaluation and feedback are an important component of the program’s approach. Through this, students will be able to practice new assignments and get frequent feedback, which will guide and boost their confidence in their ability to perform well on their final exams. Presentations, collaborative projects, computer-based simulations, articles, movies, and business reports are a few examples of these.

Career prospects

Students can interact with entrepreneurs, start-up companies, and the business world through the Business Management and Marketing curriculum. A wide range of employability skills will be developed by graduates in business management and marketing, including the use of technology, numeracy, technical skills, basic literacy and English use, analysis skills, positive work attitude, teamwork, problem solving, communication skills, knowledge of their chosen field of work, awareness of international cultures, resilience and self-management, relevant work experience, and business and customer awareness.

With these abilities, they will be prepared to work in a range of junior marketing positions in the fields of product management, marketing communications, social media management, sales assistance, and marketing research.

Our student engagement framework includes work placement, employability, and careers. Students can find work placements or opportunities that truly support course learning objectives and their career goals by contacting reputable placement providers directly.

The team will assist students in applying to placement providers and give ongoing support to them while they are placed. The group also offers assistance and direction to students as they prepare for the workforce; this may involve revisions to their resumes, cover letters, application forms, and practice interviews.
