Course details and modules

The foundation year modules are intended to provide you with a customized and comprehensive introduction to university life. By providing you with an introduction to the academic abilities and topic-specific information needed to succeed in your chosen degree subject, this first year of study will set you up for success in higher education.

Your course modules consist of a full undergraduate degree after a foundation year. Authentic assessments, no exams

This course does not require exams, in contrast to more conventional degree programs. Entry requirements

Applications are reviewed on an individual basis. We would be pleased to talk about your application if you have a lot of job experience, credentials from other education programs, or a degree or certification that isn’t directly related to this degree.

What do you need to study with us?

Our goal is to ensure that you can join us from anywhere in order to make learning as accessible as possible. We don’t have many requirements because of this. All you need is a laptop or PC with a strong, steady internet connection (we suggest one running the most recent version of Windows). With just one tool, you’ll be able to efficiently collaborate with other students, create assignments, take notes, and access learning resources, guidance, and support.

We’ll also help you acquire access to the design resources you need, no matter where you study, and we’ll help you get any design tools you need to finish the course.

Eligibility

Standard entry requirements

To be eligible for the BA (Hons) Human Resource Management and Psychology with Foundation Year, you should normally have:
  • At least 3 x GCSEs or 45 credits at Level 2 or equivalent – if your qualifications are older than 3 years we would also ask to see a professional CV.
  • If you do not meet these requirements, you may be considered based on a minimum of 12 months of appropriate work experience evidenced with a CV and reference.

English proficiency

  • IELTS 6.0 or equivalent (no less than 5.5 in any element); or TOEFL iBT 80; or equivalent.
  • Alternatively, evidence you have previously studied in English, such as a letter to show that the Medium of Instruction was in English can be accepted.

Although you can read your study materials on a smartphone or tablet, a laptop or computer running the most recent version of Windows and a reliable internet connection are essential for optimizing your learning process.
